Today (25 Sep 2024) the water situation in the Ping River at the Tha Wang Tan Weir has begun to overflow and flood the Ban Pa Pe area, Village 2, Saraphi District, Chiang Mai Province. At 8:00 a.m., the Ping River level was in the critical red range, measuring 4.45 meters. The water level is stable. Villagers and local agencies have mobilized to bring sandbags to cover flood-risk areas along the Ping River.
